The Countdown is On!

Welcome to the blog! We'll try to use this space to provide periodic updates about what's unfolding in the Lilly Clergy Renewal Program this summer for Epiphany Lutheran Church (Centerville, Ohio) and Pastor Fritz Wiese. Some suggested simply calling it "Where is Wiese?" We look forward to an exciting 3 months of visiting churches who are doing great ministry in the areas of multi-stie campus ministry and discipleship integration. This sabbatical will also be a special season of renewal, study, unique time with God and family, and hiking.

Right now, we're in the midst of buying tickets, making reservations, and setting up meetings at the churches I'll visit. We're planning worship for my time as Campus Pastor in Wittenberg, Germany. We also have teams starting to design the retreats that will take place this fall, when I'll share what I've discovered, and leaders at Epiphany get a chance to decide how we should implement these discoveries into our own ministries.

More to come!

Hi Fritz & all,
Sounds like a fun way to do a sabbatical. Everybody's going except Riley. Where do you suppose she will hang out? We will keep her well-fed and exercised. Tell her to mind her manners.

Nice web site. It is obvious the team has done a great job of making this sabbatical an Epiphany experience that a lot of people will benefit from. This web site will be a frequent visit for me this summer.

Wieses,

The blog looks great. We cannot wait to see the pictures from your trip. Say hi to our friends in East Germany for us.

(We will resist having too many parties in your house while you are gone.)
